Excision of Giant Cell Tumor of distal femur with restoration by Custom Made Guepar Higed total Knee prosthesis

Abstract
|
|
|
One case of giant cell tumor to the distal femur and distal segmental resection and restoration by custom made hing total knee prosthesis was reported.
At 5 months follow up, the patient has no complaints and 130 of flexion from 5 of
flexion contracture and 5 of extension lag with well walking and up & down stair.
At 2 years follow up, the patient is within normal without any complication.
X-ray findings shows no complication.
This technique provides an effective means of restoring the structural integrity of the distal femur and of preserving physiologic function of the knee joint.
